Highlights
Built on the vendor-independent OSM Size-L specification, designed for future-proof, solderable SoMs. The OSM standard is backed by multiple manufacturers, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and ecosystem longevity.
Featuring up to six ARM Cortex-A55 cores as well as an independent safety domain consisting of high-performance ARM Cortex-M7 and ARM Cortex-M33 cores, the OSM iMX95 System on Module combines solderability, ultra-compact form factor, real-time and high-performance processing. Additionally, support for LPDDR5 RAM delivers the highest bandwidth for demanding Computing, Graphics, and Machine Learning applications.
The integrated neural network processing unit (NPU) accelerates inference performance for Machine Learning applications, outperforming the Verdin iMX8M Plus’s NPU by a factor of 2 (on our benchmarks). Toradex provides integration with popular machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, to make it easy to get started developing your AI-based products. Discover additional ML and CV applications on our Artificial Intelligence use case overview.
Measuring only 45×45 mm, the OSM iMX95 combines a rugged, connector-less design with optimized automated assembly for reliability and cost efficiency. Its solderable form factor makes it ideal for high-volume production and space-constrained devices without compromising on industrial-grade reliability.
The OSM iMX95 supports the implementation of security-critical functions like secure boot, cryptography, trust provisioning, and run-time attestation, and simplifies compliance with global Cyber security regulations, such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Torizon goes further and streamlines the implementation process, so you can go to market faster.
The OSM iMX95 SoM is engineered for high reliability in challenging environments and across a wide temperature range, making it ideal for mission-critical applications.
The iMX95 SoM comes enabled for Torizon OS, accelerating development while seamlessly integrating with Torizon Cloud to provide customers with secure and reliable remote or offline updates, fleet monitoring, and remote access.
Why Toradex OSM SoMs?
