Develop your Embedded Linux distribution for NXP i.MX processors with Yocto Project - Part 1 Introduction (in Brazilian Portuguese)

Interested in preparing a custom Linux image for your product? Toradex application engineers, Raul Muñoz and Leonardo Veiga, demonstrate how you can use the Yocto Project and its tools to configure, build, and maintain a specialized Linux image - including the bootloader, kernel, root filesystem, and software packages.

The webinar is in two parts.

Part 1 provides an introduction to the Yocto Project followed by a summary of the tools associated with it. The presenters show you how to setup a build environment and how to compile the standard Toradex demo image. This demonstration also includes the description of basic settings and a summary of how packages and images are defined and compiled. After the image is constructed, we demonstrate how to load the generated image onto the Toradex module and then configure the development environment to generate software for it.
