The heterogeneous multicore architecture enables critical hard-real-time tasks to be offloaded to the Cortex-M7 processor, ensuring ultra-low latency. Toradex offers development tools and OS support, for e.g. FreeRTOS, to streamline the process. Additionally, the asymmetric multicore setup can support a connected low-power mode or enhance security. With an 800 MHz clock speed, the Cortex-M7 is a powerful and efficient microcontroller.
High-Performance, Pre-Certified Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
