Colibri T20 Linux Release
The release contains:
- U-Boot 2011.06 boot loader
- Linux 3.1.10 kernel, based on NVIDIA's Linux for Tegra (L4T) release R16.5
- Ångström/OpenEmbedded/Yocto 2014.06/daisy/1.6 based root file system, using LXDE desktop environment
Notable updates in this release:
- Linux kernel:
- Media: fix optional analog camera module support
- Linux user-space:
- Usb-rndis: fix various issues with dhcpd service for RNDIS
Colibri VF50/VF61 Linux Release
The release contains:
- U-Boot 2014.10 boot loader
- Linux 3.18.5 kernel
- Ångström/OpenEmbedded/Yocto 2014.06/daisy/1.6 based root file system, using LXDE desktop environment
Notable updates in this release:
- U-Boot:
- add update support using USB flash drives
- tolerate up to 12 bit errors on an empty page read
- Linux kernel:
- add software AC97 SAI driver to communicate with the Wolfson WM9712 AC97 codec for analogue audio playback and resistive touchscreen support
- add backlight support with an intermediary PWM duty cycle
- fix boot freeze due to uninitialised DCU layers (observed on Colibri VF50)
- fix DSPI driver, use hardware chip select and memory leak
- fix several bugs in UART driver when using in DMA as well as interrupt mode
