Toradex moves to “Proven” status in NXP®/Freescale Partner Program

Toradex is now at Proven status in NXP®/Freescale’s Connect Partner Program. This status has been conferred to Toradex for its expertise in the design and development of System-On-Modules using NXP®/Freescale i.MX 6 series and Vybrid families of ARM®-based SoCs.

The NXP®/Freescale Connect Partner Program is a comprehensive source for embedded designs and Toradex is now among a handful of companies chosen by NXP®/Freescale to provide software / hardware solutions; thereby adding to NXP®/Freescale’s ecosystem whilst providing customers with increased benefits.

Toradex also recently launched Viola, an ultra-low cost carrier board measuring just 74mm x 74mm. The combination of Viola with a Vybrid-based SoM, is ideal for volume production of cost-sensitive and feature-specific end-products. A Viola-based single-board computer starts at €39 / $55  for 1K units (€49 / $69 single unit price).
