We are pleased to announce the 5.5.0 release of the Toradex Easy Installer for our Computer on Modules.

This release shares the same base as that of our other embedded Linux offerings, the BSP Layers and Reference Images for Yocto Project and Torizon.

Hardware Support

• Sample products: Apalis iMX8, Colibri iMX8X, Verdin iMX8M Plus V1.0B and Verdin iMX8M Mini V1.1A
  We recommend using the latest release, version 5.5.0. For modules coming directly from the factory (in its first use), you can upgrade Easy Installer to the newer version using the pre-installed one without having to go through recovery mode.
• Volume products: Apalis iMX6, Apalis TK1, Colibri iMX6, and Colibri iMX7
  Computer on Modules that are in volume production according to our Product Change Notification (PCN) Policy may still come with older versions of Easy Installer pre-installed.
  If you are using a product in the volume phase, we recommend that you only upgrade to the latest release in production programming if it is required.
  
• Products in development: Colibri iMX6ULL 1GB
  Toradex is developing a new version of Colibri iMX6ULL, with 1GB RAM and 4GB flash. Easy Installer supports this Computer on Module since the 5.4.0 release. You can flash it using the recovery mode.
