Long lifecycles and long term product support are very important for Toradex and its customers. When designing a product Toradex deliberately chooses embedded components with a long life time. This guarantees long term availability and minimises necessary changes over the life time of a product. Toradex believes this makes their product perfect for applications where long term product availability is a must.
All of the Toradex NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 and Marvell® XScale® PXA270M, PXA300, PXA310 & PXA320 Colibri Computer System on Module family products are currently available until at least 2017 (based on roadmaps received). This includes their first Colibri module released in 2005.
The Toradex Robin Intel® Atom™ Computer System on Module family is planned to be available until at least 2015.
