23rd July 2014: Toradex – a world leading provider of embedded computing solutions based on ARM® CPUs – today announced that its products, the Colibri T20 and Iris carrier board will be used at a laboratory-work class, of associate professor Nakano, in Keio University's Department of Science and Technology, Japan.

The theme of the class is “control multileg walking robot” and will commence from the end of September 2014. The students will learn about the control combined 6 legs robot and processor. The university has undertaken this experiment with the aim to create a robot which can control posture with information from sensors, decide the direction of movement autonomously, and move to set point.

Toradex is providing modules kits for this class in order to help students understand in depth, about embedded computer modules through this project. Also, we look forward to help support them in bringing their new and brilliant ideas into shape.
