In partnership with Arm, Collabora is also the leading developer behind the Open Source graphics driver for Arm Mali GPUs (Panthor, Panforst, and Panvk). Collabora also partners and works closely with other GPU vendors. Collabora's efforts to deliver a production-ready Open Source graphics stacks aligns with the objective of Toradex to provide long-term support for their hardware products by matching them with well maintained Open Source software solutions.
Collabora has worked closely with customers to integrate and optimize Toradex SoMs across a wide range of products. Most recently, Collabora was hired by global technology leader who specializes in safety-critical applications across the automotive, commercial vehicle, medical, and industrial sectors. Faced with audio performance challenges in a medical device powered by the Toradex Verdin iMX8M Mini, the customer sought Collabora's expertise to fine-tune the audio pipelines and configuration, including audio processing, echo cancellation, two-way call audio quality, and more.
Collabora has been ISO9001 and ISO27001 certified for years. Collabora's Open Source processes are OpenChain ISO/IEC 5230 conformant. Collabora is currently pursuing ISO 14001 certification.
