Kynetics provides Android BSPs for evaluation, development, and production on Toradex products. Kynetics has successfully delivered more than 100 embedded projects across various industries, crafting Android operating systems and integrating them with customers' application layers.

Quality of the artifacts is ensured through a continuous integration process, encompassing source code management, build, and image deployment on target devices. Leveraging a solid background in developing scalable cloud architectures, Kynetics' OTA SaaS - Update Factory - delivers Android applications, OS updates, and ad-hoc device configurations at scale.

Project Overview

Up-to-date Android evaluation images and source-code are provided for the i.MX 8- and i.MX 8X-based Toradex SoMs. Kynetics also provides Android demonstration images for the i.MX 6 and i.MX 7 platforms. See more at:

To help speed up development to production timelines, Kynetics offers an over-the-air updates delivery platform: Update Factory, which includes support for both Android and Linux. To deliver a bundled source-code and build environment, Kynetics has an offer named ViBE.
